Sri Lalitha Aided Primary School

The Sri Lalitha Aided Primary School was started in 1982 under the guidance of ASSEFA for the Children of Destitute Home run by Sri Lalita Mahila Samajam. In the course of days the down trodden children of surrounding villages are admitted in the school.

The Recognition was granted in the year 1986 by the District educational officer Lalgudi. There are three teachers working in the school with government and other two teachers are appointed by the management.

There are 3 hearning impared children, 2 visually handicapped children, 1 physically handicapped child and,1 multy Handicapped child are studying in the school. The total strength of the school is above 200.

The school runs a parent Teachers Association, Village Educational Associations, Mother’s School Maintenance Association and a School Management Association.

A Noon meal centre also is functioning in the school.

The permanent recognition was granted by the Director of Elementary Education in the year 1998. The school has a library for the children.

The children are taught under the CCE system of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan. The Founder secretary of the school is yogini Nirmalamba Saraswati.
